Eligibility for the Pageant: Women of Andhra Pradesh origin, never married, living anywhere in the world, between the ages of 16 and 25 as on June 30th of the pageant year, are eligible to participate in this pageant.. To qualify for this, the applicant or parent or grand parent must be born in Andhra Pradesh, India. The purpose of this pageant is: · to bring out the best qualities in young women besides beauty which boost their self confidence and create a sense of achievement and fulfillment and · to provide career opportunities for talented winners to venture into new vistas of life. The process of selection is very detailed and is created by experts from the industry and has the following stages: · Screening and short listing from the entries received from all over the world · Training for a few days before the pageant, by professionals · Final pageant consisting of formal wear (Indian dress), evening gown, talent and Question/Answer There will be a panel of judges drawn from Telugu Film & Television Industry as well as accomplished artists of Indian Music and Art. The winner will be awarded the crown, sash and attractive prizes. Runners up will also receive sashes, crowns and also exciting prizes. Television Coverage: The event is expected to be telecast by popular Telugu TV Channels in India and North America. Sponsorship Opportunities: This pageant provides a golden sponsorship opportunity for Consumer Products, Air Travel, Media and Telephone companies.
